Review of the re-edition of the old Fragonard fragrance:

This one has absolutely nothing in common with the old version of "Moment volé", although the attractive bottle and lovely packing suggest this could be a nostalgic scent. Mais non, it's a contemporary fruity-floral. The opening with loads of rasberry and blackcurrant reminds me of Marc Jacob's "Lola". The heart is very flowery with iris, violet and rose and the base has got an ambery touch and turns into a pleasant, unobtrusive powdery veil during the day. Longevity is above average, excellent for an Eau de toilette (only available in 100 ml bottles). If you're into modern fruity-florals in the style of "Lola", you might enjoy this one. (It's a pity that Fragonard releases less and less original fragrances of their own. Most of their products seem to be copies of mainstream designer-scents).

Rococo in Spring 2022...

..."and now they're taking a walk with it," said the unfamiliar perfume saleswoman in a strange city after I had sampled two Fragonard fragrances, one of which was the "stolen moment." Her recommendation was meant to sound knowledgeable and accommodating, but I fled from the overzealousness, feeling disillusioned.
During my further stroll, I alternated between the two sprayed creations. Soon, I found that I only liked one of my wrists. And it kept getting better. A lovely, nostalgic violet note made me smile at the familiar, tender feeling and the inner image: happily surrounded by a thousand ruffles, a beauty sits on a delicate medallion chair and smells the bouquet of violets. My joy in it grew. My nose was constantly at my wrist and thus in my face. Apparently, I wasn't paying much attention to where I was wandering, and suddenly I found myself in front of the perfume shop again...
The end of the story was a new, a gifted, a fragrant spring and summer.
Moment Vole lies between modern "fruity-floral" and "old-fashioned floral perfume." Although I don't know the original (from which Gold's expectation wish arises), today's "moment vole" is romantic and floral enough for my nose, in a tender, fresh way, completely without melancholy. A very stylish, good choice for romantic young women who otherwise prefer more modern "fruity-florals."
