Pear nectar served with a peony
A really unagitated early summer fruity floral that is nevertheless not a wasp magnet. In the opening, I perceive the pear and some acidity, as we know it from pomegranate seeds, but I find the peony here to be overripe. You probably know these fragrances, I call them "green" rose fragrances, where everything is still in bud and radiates a clean, rosy freshness. The fragrance becomes increasingly woody as it progresses. Yes, you have the feeling that you are sitting in a garden, under a pear tree and the peonies are in full bloom. The pomegranate aroma in the top note evaporates very quickly. What remains are pears and fresh wood. I wouldn't buy it now, but it's still worth testing as I find Fragonard fragrances very interesting.
