Feminine, floral, sweet (PdM Oriana Dupe)
Oriana fan-girls and fan-boys watch out!
You can already tell from the name "Olena" what it is, but I had to test it anyway and yes my premonition came true, it reminds me a lot of the OG even though I unfortunately don't have Oriana to compare it 1:1 with the FA.
Olena is a very sweet, linear perfume.
What you smell in the opening stays for the most part.
To me, it smells like sweet chewing gum, but for many, what Oriana is known for is cotton candy or marshmallow.
And it is precisely this marshmallow that you have in the opening...feminine, sweet, playful, it pushes everything else into the background.
The fruity notes have little or almost no chance to shine.
Marshmallow, marshmallow and more marshmallow in the DD too.
Only the orange blossom manages to make its way into the foreground.
Together with the marshmallow, you end up with a sweet, feminine, floral fragrance that you have to like, otherwise it can quickly get on your nerves.
Raspberry can only be guessed at, as can the cream.
They both provide a slightly fruity touch and a pleasant creaminess.
Performance is ok, would have expected a beast, but just saw the reviews on the OG and that's not a super strong scent either.
Is Olena really that feminine? It definitely is! I like it slightly feminine sometimes, but it's too much for me (W90%/10%M)
Conclusion: I think Olena has really succeeded.
It doesn't smell synthetic or cheap to me.
But you have to like this DNA because, as I said, it can be quite annoying.
But if you like sweet girly fragrances, then you've come to the right place.
