Over Hyped
I blind bought this after seeing all the hype and I'm disappointed. Nice summer mango smell, but lacks projection big time. I've worn it out 5 times now and never had a comment which is unusual as my friends are always complimenting me on my choice of fragrance. It stays faintly on my skin for about 7 hours and I can smell it on my clothes the next morning. I do not get a smell when I'm out unless I put my nose to my wrist where I've sprayed. if u want a nice fruity skin smell go for it but avoid it if you want to get noticed

God Of Fire but cheaper and better!
I’ve recently sampled God Of Fire just last week and though it smelled amazing, never had a mango/tropical focus fragrance in my collection.

The problem was it was way too expensive for what it offered, especially the performance. Instead I found out Vulcan Feu because it was hyped up. For around $50 USD, you can get an 3.38oz instead of 1.7oz for $250+ for God Of Fire. Once arrived on my doorstep, I’ve been wearing it everyday.

The smelled is about 90% similar but it’s slightly more woody than the OG. The performance is surprisingly better! I get a good 8-9 hours with moderate-strong projection with 5 sprays on skin. I had people around me saying I smell like a juicy ripped mango within 4 hours.

In my opinion, everything about this fragrance is pretty much better than what god of fire offered, get it now if you can since the price is drastically going up because of demand.

Wherever Mango, I Follow.
Okay. I was not expecting this at all. I ordered Vulcan Feu as part of a big decant haul mostly filled with Pacific Chill dupes, but this is marketed as a dupe of God of Fire by Stéphane Humbert Lucas. The twist? It smells way more like Pacific Chill to me but replace apricot with mango. And it's goddamn amazing.

I haven’t smelled God of Fire yet, though it’s been on my radar. It’s just hard to find a decant that isn’t absurdly priced. That said, Vulcan Feu makes me really curious about the original, because this stuff? This is the mango bomb I’ve been searching for.

Now, I say “bomb” lightly. It’s definitely present and noticeable, but not overwhelming. In terms of mango-forward scents, this is miles better than the bummy Banana Republic gave us in Midnight Hour (which I unfortunately blind bought.)

Why does this remind me of Pacific Chill? Probably because I’ve been testing too many clones, but seriously: this has the same fresh, musky, fruity base. Swap out the apricot in PC for a green, underripe mango, add some tropical notes, and you’ve got this. It’s minty-fresh, gingery-spicy, and musky in the best way, even though there’s no mint note listed??

Honestly, it’s rare for me to test something and immediately know I want a full bottle, but Vulcan Feu hit that mark. It’s vibrant, clean and unisex. It's a tropical beachside vacation in a bottle.

Congrats, Vulcan Feu. You’ve really impressed me. Now I have to get my nose on God of Fire.

A Slightly Better Axe
SKIN TEST UPDATE: on me, to my nose, this has only managed to become less pleasant. There’s a cheap mango coupled with think oak moss and masculine of center, non-animalic musks. This is an immediate scrubber.
Just received a 2ml spray sample from Scentaari today (first time using the site, highly recommend).

This is day one from a fragrance house which generally benefits from maceration so read with a grain of salt. I expect it to alter somewhat over the course of the next few weeks.

Initial spray, for me, was a two pronged citrus note. One smelled fairly organic, like something ripening on dining room fruit bowl. While i couldn’t first figure it out, I think it might be something like a bergamot. The other citrus note was very synthetic and very lemony. The oakmoss shines through and helps keep this scent fairly unisex, though I think it could be very case by case on different ppl with Feu.

The oakmoss and mango come to the fore upon the dry down. The mango reads as “almost ripe.” It’s fruity but I’m hoping to update that the mango will fully develop while the woody notes go deeper and less like Axe body spray.

Mango on fire
Vulcan Feu, crafted by the Emirati house French Avenue, stands out as one of the brand’s most prominent fragrances, if not its finest.
Performance is slightly above average, offering a longevity of approximately 4 hours with moderate sillage.
Classified as a unisex fragrance, its composition leans slightly more masculine at 60%, while still suitable for women at 40%. It is particularly ideal for daytime wear during spring and summer.
The fragrance boasts a high-quality composition, free from noticeable synthetic or off-putting notes, with only a faint, non-offensive initial alcohol scent.
When compared to God of Fire by Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777, there is a noticeable similarity in their overall concept, both sharing a sweet, tropical, fruity character, with an estimated 60% resemblance. However, God of Fire clearly surpasses Vulcan Feu in terms of purity, projection, sillage, and innovative composition, which is expected given its distinct positioning and price point.
Despite the media hype surrounding Vulcan Feu in the summer of 2025, driven by paid marketing campaigns, it proves to be a very good fragrance within its price range. It is an excellent choice for fans of fruity scents.
Personally, I enjoyed the fragrance and didn’t find any flaws, rating it 8/10.

Incredible mango fragrance. Can't compare with GOF since I'm not rich, but as a stand alone fragrance, this is undeniably great. Perfectly unisex too!

A reminiscent flash of the mango sorbet found on the coast of Lake Garda. Tropical, sweet, and creamy.

I don't think y'all know what mango smells like. Smells good, but leans HEAVILY feminine. Projection could be better. Casual scent.

I get mango with a hint of jasmine, from start to finish. Will let it mature, but so far I'm disappointed. Smells nice, but boring.
