What perfume have you bought recently?

Just bought Tom Ford's Eau d'Ombré Leather , looking forward to trying it out tomorrow!

Just blind bought Discover Intense - Seasalt & Neroli 30 ml from local Marks & Spencer in Aberdeen for 7 pounds and it's absolutely amazing for the price! 🤩👍
Jousset Crème Brûlée and boy do I regret it. The nastiest smelling perfume I've smelled to date.
I bought Eau d'Ombré Leather and
Layton this week, loved them both!
Just arrived my Al Haramain order, was looking forward having an intro on arabian dupes and getting similar scents to ones I already love, so said why not.
Incidentally they all happened to be from this brand. Quite excited, just tried them on paper and the most intense one on skin as well.
L'Aventure Intense Lovely, just as I remember ITG, cant wait to wear it daily, happy with the purchase and no harness, dont think maceration is necessary on this one.
Détour Noir Blew my mind, compared it side by side with my layton decant and cant notice any difference, it's a steal and no harness either, was scared with the tea note but lemme say it's perfect for me.
Amber Oud Tobacco Edition The most difficult one, at the moment I can see the similarity with TV, it's 80% the same but has a strong clove note that dizzies me. Tried it on skin and it's evolving well but think once it macerates gonna be even better. Vanilla and tobacco is there for sure.
Edit: The drydown on the tobacco edition is too damn powerful, once it settles it is much much more pleasant and bearable, love how close it is now and what I initially expected.
Just recieved Knowing Eau de Parfum I remembered I had tested it in August and loving it, but summer was not the right season for it, so bought it for my fall/winter collection, also because it was on sale online. Oh...it's potent! One spray on the chest is enough and I don't even push the sprayer fully. This 75 ml. bottle will last me a lifetime!
Anubis My decant is nearly empty and I cannot bear without it. I would have never described myself as liking leather fragrances but I clearly do!

Today, I went to the salon to get my nails done (a nice shiny red), then visited the new Hermès store that opened today, then bought a new candle at Diptyque's. After that, I entered the Printemps department store remembering that Guerlain sent me an e-mail advertising they would triple the points on my fidelity account for any purchase in a physical store until the end of the week, and purchased Liu Eau de Parfum and a refill of
Shalimar Eau de Toilette
Unreasonable? Yes. Happy? Very.
Black Friday purchases. I was craving spicy/cozy/comforting tea, ginger, nutty, honey, vanilla scents.
"Heal the Way by Alex Elle | Snif"
I've got really good deals. The Cabanel fragrances were $60 each (Fragrancebuy, Black Friday coupons). Snif fragrances were $40 each (Ulta special). Nightcap was $90 (at Ulta). I also got 2 free plush winter robes (gift with purchase). I chose men's robes because they are grey, I can't stand pastels... Those robes are super cozy. I pretty much live in them all winter long. I buy perfume every year just to get those free robes. Super excited....
I bought King cobra Quite recently. Really enjoy it. Little disappointed of the performance :/
More Black Friday stuff:
Sandalwood Temple 100 ml
Tiger By Her Side travel spray
+ free Sana Jardin discovery kit...
Also, I have Moon Milk in my cart. I think I'll just buy it...
Here a 'Cyber Monday' purchase with 30% off. I've been a good girl (not being too impulsive ) and tried the sample of it for a longer period of time and in different circumstances first before I made a decision and today I bought a first Chanel I really think I love and still I am only using the sample and leave the new bottle unopened and sealed for when I would have doubts.
For now I think it is like a soft, unique, myserious veil and it is versatile and I love the sillage. Very different from Coco Eau de Parfum. Noir is much softer and, though it is mysterious and does make a statement, not as bold as Coco.
Edit: I returned it though. It was a strong like (from wearing the additional sample so I could still return it), but not a love in the end. Don't know but, as soft as it is, it still remains quite obvious in drydown, made me feel a bit weary almost.

I recently bought almost the entire collection of the Master Perfumer, which was on sale at our local drugstore.
I already used two of them. N. 12 and 28. Black Musk N°12
Black Wood N°28
now I have 17 bottles to try 🫣
Recently....I have been very bad and allowed myself an end of year blowout to cross many things off my "wishlist".
Hermes Jardin en Mediterranee Un Jardin en Méditerranée
Hermessence Osmanthe Yunnan Osmanthe Yunnan
Hermes Cologne Pamplemousse Rose Eau de Pamplemousse Rose
Zoologist Cockatiel (for me) plus a sample of Cow Cockatiel
Zoologist Tiger (for a present for my hublet) Tiger
Imaginary Authors Dipped in Chocolate which I'm willing to share with the hub (but probably won't) Dipped in Chocolate
I recently picked up a luxurious oud-based fragrance that perfectly balances warmth and sophistication. It reminds me of the affordable best perfumes in Dubai, known for their rich, long-lasting notes that feel both opulent and timeless. It's quickly become my go-to scent for special occasions!
My personal Christmas gift to myself was Orphéon Édition Limitée 2024 that I miraculously found at my local niche store. The regular
Orphéon Eau de Parfum was on my wishlist, for what, like 2 years ? But I always struggle to spend more than 150€ on a fragrance.
And I clearly don't regret it xtagstartz3, I stored it next to my L'Eau Papier Édition Limitée 2023
Oh dear, despite of promising myself I wouldn't blind buy any perfume (unless very afordable), I just ordered Liu Eau de Parfum I'm a bit afraid because of the comparisons to
N°5 Eau de Parfum and all Chanel 5 flankers, but I never take these comparisons to Chanel No 5 too seriously because every perfume with aldehydes is being compared to Chanel No 5 and most of the times I can't relate to that. And I do LOVE aldehydes and Guerlain seldom fails me
! And reading reviews about the differences between the two, I am quite confident that what I don't like in Chanel, won't be in Liu....fingers crossed. It will arrive the day after tomorow and I'm so curious!
Most recently arrived was Ambre Loup I wore a sample out on a cold weather hike and the combination of labdanum, vanilla, smoky tobacco was too perfect for words. It just brought a timeless burnished warmth to the chill that I always want to remember.
I did ask for a bottle of Au Delà - Narcisse as a holiday gift. It’s on the way. I’m confident that it will be the fragrance that carries me through the hard climb of January/February. I associate narcissus strongly with that time of year and have strong early scent memories of it. Bruno Fazzolari’s interpretation is absolutely pitch perfect to my nose. Living and green, indolic chypre, but utterly modern to my nose.
Oh, forgot: I also recently bought Knowing Eau de Parfum for sale ...well don't dislike it objectively but, as with all scents with this scent-profile (Like Diva, Paloma Picasso and so on) I finally got to admit to myself, they aren't 'me'. .

@ringtale, I can't wait to read your opinion about Liu Eau de Parfum. I bought it a few weeks ago.
About my last purchases, I had been very unreasonnable... But at a reasonnable price, because I received a coupon from one of my favorite websites, they were "surprised" I missed Black Friday sales.
I ordered (for less than a 200 ml bottle of Chanel Les Exclusifs) :

Hi @EvitaVilla I can't wait either 😀! I feel like a child waiting for her Christmas present (and in fact it is, I allowed myself to buy it because in december we get a 13th month ). And would love to hear about your purchases too!! If you like 'L'air du Temps edt, you really should try the edp too (if you don't already know it, that is). Oh and Givenchy III...I adore that one
!
I will let you know about Liu Eau de Parfum ofcourse. Just saw some Youtube reviews on it and those confirmed my idea of how it will be, compared to Chanel No 5: Maybe reminiscent, but very different and 'it's own thing'.
(let's hope so, because I don't like Chanel No5: I respect it for what it is, but find it too cold and bossy, doesn't suit me).
