Like Amarige, but more natural
This perfume is pretty much a clone of Givenchy Amarige but smells much, much better because its ingredients seem much closer to nature than that test-tube monster by Dominique Ropion. So, a failing mark for originality here but a passing grade for execution. A sunny, happy, daily perfume for the warm months.

Accompanied by fragrance spirits
"Arielle," an elegant member of the family of air spirits, invites me for a stroll through the fragrant alleys of the old town of Grasse.
Charming and chatty, she strolls alongside me, elegantly using her little lace parasol.
We are accompanied by a multitude of fragrance spirits of various shapes.
They all call this city of scents home; you can tell: they carry its lightness within them!

Lady Bergamot stands out immediately; she leads the procession of her companions with a fresh and fruity flair.
The lively lemon in her light yellow attire does not want to be left behind either.
Following her, round and ripe, is Madame Peach; in sheer joy over this sunny day, she licks her slightly sticky fingers from sweet fruit juice and immediately spreads cheerfulness.
Together, they form a lovely introduction to a classic, somewhat old-fashioned floral entourage.
For we would not be in Grasse if almost every step were not accompanied by the white flowers of the old school.
A fragrant troika joins us: the lively, sometimes a bit intrusive lily of the valley flirts once again with the bushy scent of jasmine; both can be quite loud, but here they come across pleasantly and wearably.
Tuberose also belongs to this trio: white and particularly intensely fragrant in the evening, but also indispensable in the streets of Grasse.
The noble beauty May Rose hesitates a bit: are the lovely fragrance spirits dancing around her not refined enough?
But then she allows herself to be infected by their friendliness and summer mood: her delicate pink and the very special scent of her blossoms create a fragrant point that does not go unnoticed.
Although the noble Countess Gardenia once again tries to outshine her.
Yes, which one is the fairest in all the flower land?
With "Arielle," this question remains unanswered.
Laughing and swirling with playful femininity, these fragrance beings dance through the venerable city, light and enticing!
Yet their floating fragrance needs a bit of grounding: air and scent are beautiful - but also fleeting!
Therefore, the somewhat scratchy, always a bit stubborn Lady Sandalwood and the noble Demoiselle Amber join this cheerful gathering of scents.
They form the impressive conclusion of a society that is as fragrant as it is elegantly feminine, gathered around "Arielle" and joyfully accompanying me for hours.
Charming fragrance spirits that, despite or precisely because of their differences, create a fine harmonious whole, until they gradually and politely say goodbye.
Only a whisper remains, a fine memory of their presence.

Until a few years ago, I only knew the painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard, who enchanted with his airy shepherd scenes.
His paintings lead to a special "Arcadia," into which I immersed myself just as gladly as in the works of the more famous painter Antoine Watteau.
(Watteau, whom the FAZ calls "master of the breathing soap bubbles" on the occasion of his 300th death anniversary!)
Only through the user who introduced me to Parfumo did I come to know and love the fragrances of the Fragonard house from Grasse.
They all represent a relaxed stroll through a world of scents that needs no noisy surroundings to bring joy and adornment.
Here, decades of craftsmanship and imagination meet the natural conditions of the flower city of Grasse, resulting in fragrance creations that are wearable and entertaining and embrace their natural femininity.

0815abc gifted me a selection of ten small fragrance bottles from this brand, and I am just as excited as I am grateful.
So I can now announce further fragrance experiences with the beauties from this house.
I have always loved commenting on Fragonard fragrances; they are dear to my heart!
I promise: there will certainly be no three-liners and definitely no purchase recommendations!
No worries: I am too old to be untrue to myself!
The treasure of scents from the Fragonard house still fascinates me, and I look forward to anyone who accompanies me on my journey of discovery through its vibrant and diverse world.
Thank you very much for that!
Also for your patience in accompanying me this far!

Mermaids kiss better!
Ariel is the pro-fragrance for nymphs. By the way, NOT meant negatively! Here, there's no skimping; underwater, we go all out, and the virgins with fish tails craft from sea sand, shell gravel, and algae a second Atlantis or at least Vineta, the sunken city in the Baltic Sea. The steroid-stalwart Poseidon stands with his trident at the bottom or at the abyss, swinging the scepter.
Now, there is no layered pyramid, and one should simply remix the aforementioned "ingredients": floral and fruity notes up front (please have the stoned, old-maid merman gnaw the algae and seaweed from behind his ears), then sink peaches and flowers into the sea. As an offering for the submerged Vineta inhabitants. Poseidon blows in a strong green breeze and stretches the fish tails of all nymphs who indulge in vice. Orcas, the wolves of the seas, chart their course and have permission to devour a sinful mermaid. She is simply tipped off the flatfish. Then she gets one with the sandalwood club and is sedated with tuberoses. The spat out remains are called amber, smell sweet and creamy, and sometimes like boiled natural soap made from bones. Sounds harsh, but it is so.
Exciting and interesting scent! Please keep away from Poseidon and orcas when wearing it.

This smells literally nothing like Givenchy's Amarige in any way, shape, form or fashion. It smells like a wino's URINE.

Floral-fruity with spice and a certain soapy note.
