I changed my 'signature' so often that I really can't say I have one. But lately I'm reaching for Jicky Eau de Parfum quite often.

I consider Solo Vulcan my signature, because to me it smells like burnt steppes – a begrudgingly beloved place where I find myself when I have no need to be anywhere else.

But if I had to choose a signature based on what I find myself spraying most often, right now it would be a tie between 7 Cobalt, Agua Drop and Earth.

But if I had to forgo everything I collected thus far and keep just 1 perfume – I would let go of anything but my ancient half-empty bottle of Piazza di Spagna. So there's that.

I keep changing it, But I would say my top 3 would be

1. Amouage Interlude

2. Amouage Guidance

3. Soleil Blanc Tom Ford

At least for now

I don't have one. I like wearing different scents daily.

In undergrad I (along with pretty much every other girl on campus) wore Cheirosa '62 so that's definitely an old signature of mine. It's still one of my favorites but as I've gotten more into fragrance I tend to vary what I wear since I have so many samples and other bottles so I'm not wearing it as often so I don't really have an everyday signature. However when it comes to dance my signature practice scent is Bare and for performances I wear Warm Vanilla Sugar Fragrance Mist shimmer mist (you have to sparkle under the lights!) and either Sensual Amber Fragrance Mist or Vanilla | 28 Eau de Parfum.

I think there are several ways to understand the term "signature scent" actually. For some people it means a fragrance that they're wearing all the time, that they have a certain smell that all friends and family recognizes them from that one smell and it's the most worn fragrance. I think that's a beautiful thought but in that sense I don't have a signature either. I just couldn't do that unfortunately because I get nose blind so easily that if I wear a certain fragrance too often, I have to have a several months break from it in order to smell it properly again. So I really need to rotate often because I want to enjoy what I'm wearing.

However, for me signature scent means something different. I have had several signatures during the years, sometimes I have worn my signature frequently but mostly it's not even near my most worn fragrance. That's because I think the signature is something special for specific moments. It has something that touches me deeply and has a deeper meaning for me. Wearing it needs a specific state of mind and it feels almost like a spiritual connection. It just feels "right" in every way, it feels "me". That's what I'm calling my signature.

Fantastic definition of signature scent. Yes I have these moments. I usually wore 2 different perfumes layered, twice per day.

So may would use 4 different perfumes every day. And every tomorrow is different. When I use one the same fragrance second day in a row this is the moment when I feel that good bond to this particular scent that I want to reuse it yet another day  

Despite all the fragrances I have owned, tried, sampled, etc. I always fall back on my $20 bottle of Spice and Black Vanilla Eau de Toilette

Anytime one of my friends smells this scent profile, they say it "smells like me" lol.

Oh wr have such a similar taste. I loved Water Parfum in store tested on skin, but disappointed me a little when bought . Hope I will get a hang on it next summer 🙏🏼

For me right now it's Ormonde Woman Eau de Parfum ad Irrésistible Givenchy Eau de Parfum - I haven't yet decided on my favorite honey scent to complete the set.

While I can understand how you view "signature scent," and I know of others who have a similar view, I tend to view it like an actual signature. Something that causes others to recognize you, just as your signature. I too have favorites, some that are not often worn. Others won't identify me by those fragrances. Thus, I take a narrow definition of "signature scent."

Yeah, I completely understand this. I actually envy those people who are able to wear same fragrances all the time without getting nose blind to them. If my nose was like that, my signature fragrance in that sense would probably be Alien Eau de Parfum, I would wear it very often if I could. Unfortunately I can't smell it at all if I wear it more often than once or twice a month. 🥺 What comes to identifying people from their fragrances, it's funny that I happen to live in a country where majority of people never wear fragrances, so in general people recognize me as "that lady who wears fragrances" (or "that skunk lady" as local fragrance haters usually call fragranced people skunks 🙈), hahah. 😄
