What's your top "feel good" mood-lifter fragrance? 1

The one (two, three) you always, always think of when you're in bad mood, sad or just need a little comforting (olfactory) blanket to lift your spirits or make you smile... Tell me which perfume does this to you?

Do you have a note that has that effect on you (maybe vanilla, coconut, frankinscence...)?

Thank you all! <3

Just sprayed on Intense TiaréSmile A very happy scent! Tiare flower is what does it for me in this perfume.

And sometimes I crave L'Air du Temps Eau de Parfum In here the carnation is to die for!

Imagination, Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum, Pacific Rock Moss or Néroli Plein Sud.

All of these just work so well on my skin and are so enjoyable/comforting to wear!

thanks for your suggestions and thoughts <3

I love sexy fruits, like Sirène . Also Bonbon Pop is such a mood lifter for me. And budget friendly Olympēa Eau de Parfum

Not only happy mood, but a sexy confident one.

I just bought Olympea and waiting to arrive! Sirene is very tempting, so far the only one i tested from FDB is Lovers and I find it sexy and delicious too. Very Happy Sirene is on my radar definitely! Thank you so much for your suggestions...

Definitely Seville Orange Body Mist and Rainbow Ice for me lately! Sweet, uplifting, nostalgic citrus notes always put me in a better mood.

I don't own it, but it's been on my wish-list for a few years: Eau de Pamplemousse Rose.

Because - of course now I can't remember who, where, when or how - I heard a Dr Scientist Person say, essentially, that while a lot of alleged health benefits of various scents were more or less bogus, the smell of grapefruit was established to lift people's moods indeed (don't quote me on any of that, but it was the general idea).
I don't remember if they specified 'pink' grapefruit or the whole extended grapefruit, but I'll take the Hermès pink!

It would seem that citruses have that fresh 'n' energizing effect, eh?

Skydive is mine. It's ozonic and breezy with a prominent sweet green apple note and some light green and floral notes. It's hard to feel gloomy while wearing it.

@SixAmbregris that one sounds lovely, hope you get to try it! The claims about pink grapefruit sound legit - I feel this when wearing So Pink Eau de Toilette (also pink grapefruit-forward).

@Delonwheels the way you described this makes it sound like an idyllic spring day - I can see why it's an instant mood boost; need to add this to my list, thank you for mentioning it!

@Cloudberry I love Seville Orange Perfume Oil (and bright citruses), too! Does the Seville Orange Body Mist concentration have any lasting power? I've been curious about testing it (my skin eats up the perfume concentration, sadly!).

@Gourmandgrl I def feel like it has better lasting power than the oil actually!! It leaves such a lovely sweetness on the skin as it fades. I’ve been putting the oil on pulse points and then using 5-6 sprays of the body spray total on my hair + arms + chest (I’m a 2-spray girlie for most EDP concentrations). The mist comes out pretty fine so my bottle surprisingly doesn’t have much of a dent yet!

So recently it's been Joyeuse Tubéreuse and Marfa Eau de Parfum because I love tuberose, apparently!

For me when I want to feel good L'Immensité is my go to. Fresh, the citrus "pops" off my skin and seems really smooth to me. Always puts me in a good mood.

Also Morning Chess Eau de Parfum and Baie 19 Eau de Parfum

Not as "fresh" but Baie 19 has that almost perfect petrichor ozonic smell to me. Love it and always makes me feel good in a cozy type way.

Morning Chess I do not own but I have a sample I keep coming back to. Similar to Aventus but a little greener which is a category I enjoy.

Rive Gauche (2003). I don't wear it that often, but I have always a bottle in my collection.

My number one will always be, Angel Eau de Parfum, I can spray that anytime/anywhere and boom, mood lifted.

Lately however, I discovered "Sh**ty Day | Noyz" is really cozy/comforting with its salty-aquatic-fruity accord. I wore this during one of the cooler rainy days we had recently, and it was quite calming. It's borderline aromatherapy for me, and I love

Sketch (2017), and Nuée Bleue (2019) both from Maison Violet are quite cozy in my opinion. Sketch has this lovely vanilla accord and it's not overly powdery its toasty more than anything, and the way it pairs with the nutmeg is just divine. Nuée Bleue (also great for rainy summer days), the dry-down is cozy with an Amberwood accord base, it tones down the powdery nuances from the orris after about an hour and warms the scent up, but it retains a lot of freshness from the floral accord.

For the colder months? I love: Iris Malikhân, Good Girl Eau de Parfum Suprême and A*Men(this one I love wearing around the house during the fall/winter).

Just a few that I always reach for to have a moment of peace.

I don't know what it is which makes that feeling but "Guidance | Amouage" I call as "Happy mood scent". Others are Flowerlush because it's like mix of florals and rainbow coloured candies. Le Muguet de Rosine (2015) is sharing happy mood as well with the most uplifting Pear which I know and Jasmin Bonheur is uplifting as well. If I want happiness and I want to feel that nothing can stop me I wear "The Spirit of Dubai - Narjesi | Nabeel"

This is not a Blue Bottle 1.2 instantly makes me so happy and careless as I am a teenage girl on my summer holidays again

also, 4. Montabaco Intensivo it is an always changing, evolving & revolving, ultra-high quality blend on my skin.

Chocolate/cacao and honey fragrances. Such as:

Wicked Good , Chocolate Man Cologne , "Mamluk | XerJoff" , Noora Perfume Oil .... and many more....

Today I realized that also Blue Grass (1989) always lifts my mood.

Prodigieux Floral - Le Parfum and Grenade Pivoine are lovely florals that uplift my spirits 🌷🌻🪻

Blanche Bete mixed with a spray or two of Valaya always lifts my spirits! And lately, Simone Andreoli's Sunplosion, it's so tropical and happy!
