Much cooler today after a long warm spell. Night Flower demanded I pay attention. I cherish this bottle! A clear Shalimar descendent. It a leathery tuberose with abundant patchouli. Perfectly blended in my opinion.

Currently layering Ossuary from La Curie and Bloody Wood by Liquides Imaginaires for a vampire-in-a-crypt sort of theme on this early autumn day. 

Also, how do you link the perfumes to have that little preview in the post? New transplant from another fragrance website and still learning!

Today is kind of a gross day, for some reason though there were no clouds in the sky smoke from forest fires near and far seemed to hang in the air around us making everything feel hotter, stagnant and dirty. It was quite oppressive. So I wanted something clean and fresh smelling, something optimistic that could cut through the existential dread of the current in the air. Chanel Eau de Cologne fit that bill.
