I'm buying myself sample sets. I'm trying to branch out even more and discover new scent profiles, as well as show love to smaller brands. One I'm particularly excited to try is Sawmill Perfume . I love the smell of fresh lumber...so I cant wait to try that. My husband doesn't wear fragrance, but even he's looking forward to trying it, too!

I started getting FBs in... June? 😅 I started with You or Someone like You. Then, when I was in Italy this past summer I got Arancia Rossa, Magnolia Infinita, Ricina and Buongiorno. Then added Sal y Limón and Island Dreams taking advantage of Thanksgiving/Black Friday sales. Waiting for sales again in hopes to get a deal on Anelo and waiting for the summer again to get Pomelo Assoluto and Acqua Viva in Italy.

I got myself Lavande Poivre Noir , Cèdre Encens and Terra . The L'Occitanes should be here today!

I bought Vanilj for myself but Santa is bringing me Cactus Abduction and Blanche Eau de Parfum 🎅🏻

It’s all about the samples and decants for me this holiday season! I’ll hold off on a full bottle of something for my birthday.

Absolutely. Looking forward to it. I've just picked up the Les Indemodables sample set over Black Friday and I will sample and choose a favorite. I know Vanille Havane and Ambre Supreme are the most famous ones but I'm really open to anything. 

I'll play it safely for this one, I'm going for discovery sets from Les Indémodables and Les Abstraits. Very much looking forward to smell Vanille Havane Eau de Parfum and Des Cendres

Bought my husband By the Fireplace for Christmas (shhh don't tell) and am hoping that he got me Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense . If he did not, that will likely be my post-Christmas gift to myself.

As luck would have it, I’m gifting myself a bottle of Do Son Eau de Toilette this season - twice! 🤣

Here’s what happened: after losing an eBay bidding war on a secondhand 50 ml bottle of Olène, I bought a $33 100 ml bottle of Do Son Eau de Toilette off of eBay. I suspect I got a fake, but that’s on me for thinking I could score a full bottle of Diptyque for under $50 on eBay!

So, now I have a second bottle of Do Son that I got from a trustworthy site coming in the mail. Even though this bottle was on sale, I ended up spending MORE money than I would have if I had simply just bought the damn bottle retail.

But hey, what doesn’t kill you makes you commit harder to a future fragrance low/no buy, am I right?

Yes, I already opened my early Christmas presents. It’s my birthday month as well, so it’s kind of a combined Christmas/birthday thing. I also received some birthday money, which helped with this purchase:

L’Heure Exquise might have to go, though. I need to give it a few more wears to see how it behaves in warmer temperatures. There is a mossy undercurrent I do not love, but the camphor is so perfectly done here, beautifully combined with woods/oud and cacao.

I bought myself a special Christmas box from Filippo Sorcinelli that contains a fragrance that isn't released yet and not sure if it will in the future. It was love at first sniff 🖤. I'm thinking about Caden to buy too , a blind buy, because it sounds like a fabulous fragrance to me

Already did, I bought Dolce & Gabbana the One Parfum 2025, which arrived right before the holidays.

Can't add it to my Parfumo collection yet though, it isn't searchable yet here, unlike on Fragrantica  Sovietica.

I think about getting Rayhaan Terra, Rayhaan Obsidian, Rayhaan Adonis Icarus, Rayhaan Valhalla and Rayhaan Lion. I really like these Arabian brands because they smell good, the bottles look good and they are cheap. FragranceGems is the site I could literally buy Rayhaan Pacific Aura from for 25 euro's and Tropical Vibe for just 20 euro .... That are insane prices.
